Established in 1996, AgriSea NZ Ltd is a multi-award winning sustainable New Zealand company, family owned and operated. The company produces Seaweed Soil, Foliar, Turf, Pasture and Animal Health concentrates for Agriculture and Horticulture.

The New Zealand native seaweed species (ecklonia radiata) is batch-brewed with specially selected essential herbs for up to 90 days. The natural brewing process eliminates the use of processing with heat, chemicals, freezing or dehydration that might ‘denature’ the sensitive nutrient balance, allowing the natural growth stimulants and micro-nutrients to be released in an active form to enhance soil and plant health. AgriSea’s natural brewing methods are unique for commercial production.

A fertile productive soil is a biologically active soil in which large microbial populations flourish. 
Seaweed is a complex material containing a vast range of minerals, trace elements, mannitols, alginates, naturally occurring plant growth hormones.
Seaweed is widely used in vineyards in France, Australia and New Zealand and research shows that seaweed treated grapes have:

• Less botrytis, powdery mildew and downy mildew
• Excellent root development
• Increased ability to recover from frost 
• Large and open uniform bunches

AgriSea Soil Concentrate will feed and increase the soil microbial population building the precious humus layer which is the nutrient storehouse of the soil. This will encourage strong root mass development in the autumn which in turn benefits fruit development in the spring / summer, aids disease reduction & water retention.

AgriSea Foliar Concentrate will provide nutrients directly to the foliage thereby promoting heavy fruit development and preventing leaf borne disease.

Programme

Apply AgriSea Soil Concentrate at 5L per ha (1:50) in the Autumn and Spring to encourage soil health and root development.

Apply AgriSea Foliar Concentrate @ 5L per ha. (1:100) 1nd application at flowering (50% bloom.), 2nd application immediately post fruit set, 3rd application 3 weeks post fruit set and 4th application (optional) after harvest.
