Brett Martin
Northland Area Field Consultant
Brett joined AgriSea in June 2019 and is our Area Field Consultant in Northland living in Kerikeri and covering all aspects of the AgriSea business, including Dairy, Drystock, Horticulture, Animal Health and Bee Nutrition.
Brett was born in Taumarunui and worked closely with the Agricultural sector around the region. Married with four children he moved the family to Kerikeri 8 years ago working for PGG Wrightson’s, Farmlands and in the Dairy Chemical industry before joining AgriSea in 2019.
As he often mentions, Brett is ‘Living The Dream’ in Northland and looking forward to working with his existing clients and fostering new ones helping them to succeed in their chosen field.

Becca Thomson
South Waikato/BOP Area Field Consultant
Becca joined AgriSea in February 2020, after returning from a year living and travelling through UK/Europe. She enjoyed relief milking on a range of UK farms to fund her travels.
Born and bred on a sheep and beef farm in the Wairarapa, Becca has grown an interest and appreciation for New Zealand’s primary industries. Since finishing her agricultural degree at Massey, Becca spent 4 years working within the rural banking industry.
Becca has settled in Papamoa with her fiancé, Steve, who is a mixed animal Veterinarian. Together they enjoy a range of sports including surfing and squash, not to mention a good bit of socialising!

Murray McEwan
West Waikato Area Field Consultant
Murray’s whole working life, has been in the agricultural service sector. Murray has worked as a stock agent, wool classing, and export also dairy farming and milk processing.
Over the last 20 years he has been involved with fertiliser, farm nutrient management (incl. Overseer), dairy effluent design and management. He has practical working experience with both conventional and organic agricultural production and has found a neat fit with the Agrisea products into all farming systems.

Gavin Robertson
Taranaki/Lower North Island Area Field Consultant
Having been on the AgriSea team since October 2010 Gavin has an extensive Sales and Marketing background in the Agricultural/Horticultural industries.
With his wealth of experience, Gavin has built up a very loyal clientele in the lower North Island. His knowledge of farming and agriculture and how bio stimulant’s fit with-in nutrient management has been of great value and is sort after by both existing clients and new prospects looking to improve and fine tune their Farming Systems.

Mark Powick
Hawke's Bay/ Gisborne Area Field Consultant & AgriSea Technical Adviser
Mark started with Agrisea in Feb 2011. He is currently the Agrisea Technical Advisor and Sales Consultant for Hawkes Bay and Gisborne. Originally employed as Sales consultant for Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast he moved to the Hawkes Bay to take up his current role.
Raised on a Sheep and Beef farm in the Marlborough Sounds, Mark gained a Tertiary Qualification in Agriculture and had experience in the Dairy Industry as a Farmer. He completed a Diploma in Farm Business Management then as a TB technician for the Animal Health Board prior to full-filling his current position.
Having had first-hand experience with seaweed products and biological farming Mark brings a pragmatic practical approach to the Technical Advisor role combined with associated scientific and technical expertise that gives the best possible support to customers and our Area Field Consultants.

Hannah Gudsell
Manawatu/Kapiti & Wellington Area Field Consultant
Hannah joined AgriSea in September 2020 after working in livestock advertising. She finished at Massey University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Agriscience majoring in Equine under her belt giving her a well rounded view of the agricultural sector.
Born and raised in Timaru with a keen interest in agriculture and horses meant the decision to head to Massey to further her knowledge in the primary industries was an easy one, and the added bonus that she could take her horse to the equestrian centre on site too sealed the deal.
Hannah now resides on a farm in Taihape with her partner Dan who is a Livestock Agent along with her horses and other various animals. On the weekends you will find her either on the farm or at a horse show. She is also involved in the local show jumping group.

Paul O’Donnell
Canterbury/ West Coast Area Field Consultant
Paul joined AgriSea in 2011 and is one of our longest serving team members. Paul brings extensive knowledge and experience to his role offering farm advice on the best use of AgriSea products and supporting other farming processes for good fiscal outcomes.
Bought up and educated in the Canterbury farming environment, Paul left school to take up a trainee roll in Crop Procurement where he worked for nearly three decades, alongside Pasture Management in Ellesmere and North Canterbury.
Paul and his wife have settled in North Canterbury and have four adult children and a grandchild that have settled close by.

Chris Boys
Southland/Otago Area Field Consultant
Chris started with AgriSea July 2019. Chris has had personal experience with the AgriSea products when he was Dairy farming.
As the Otago/Southland Area FIeld Consultant, Chris feels he has the most beautiful office in the world. With a Farming background in sheep and beef and dairy farming prior to joining AgriSea, Chris took a couple of years out to upskill in the real world and drove taxis in Dunedin.
Chris resides in Port Chalmers, Dunedin with his partner of 24 years Joanne.

Marianne Salmon
BOP/Gisborne/Hawkes Bay/Auckland/Waikato & Martinborough - Horticulture/Viticulture Specialist
Marianne joined AgriSea in 2019 and is loving working with a company whose philosophy and values align closely with hers. She has graduated with an MBA and a degree in Agricultural Science majoring in Soil Science and has her Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management Certiificate. Marianne has always had a passion for sustainable and profitable production and has been involved in many aspects of NZ Primary Industries including Consulting, Management and Training roles in the Horticultural and Agricultural sectors.
Marianne has two children and, with her husband, owns a lifestyle block/orchard in the Bay of Plenty which keeps her busy when she is not at work.

Susi Thomas
Equine Specialist
Susi arrived from the UK with a background in the Thoroughbred racing industry. Her lifetime love of horses and a passion for pleasure riding naturally lead to a career in the industry. Horses wellbeing is her main focus and AgriSea was the perfect fit. She has helped many top riders in all disciplines achieve outstanding results using the AgriSea products and loves to see the horses look and perform to the best of their ability.

Tony Blatchford
Apiculture (Bee) Specialist
Tony first worked for AgriSea as an Area Field Consultant, focusing on dairy, drystock and apiculture. He acquired his own bee hives and under the mentorship of a good commercial beekeeper has upskilled himself to the point where he is able to advise others on the values and benefits of bee nutrition.
Tony also worked alongside the Research and Development Manager monitoring and collecting data from apiculture trials being conducted across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
His passion, knowledge and experience for all things beekeeping led to his taking on the role of AgriSea Apiculture Advisor.
