OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
General Manager (Director)
Based in Paeroa at head office, Tane has been part of the AgriSea family since its inception. From seaweed harvesting around some of our most amazing coastline’s to learning everything about the business from the ground up this has been a life long passion for Tane and his family.
Tane supports the internal teams, builds research relationships, engages with our farming communities and manages our raw resource across New Zealand. Tane readily grasps future opportunities in both the Seaweed Industry and Primary sectors in New Zealand. We have known the value seaweed has on our primary industries for decades and we are fortunate to do the work we do in supporting the growth, research and understanding by collaborative relationships with great like-minded people and companies.
We are excited about the future and the support AgriSea brings to our communities.
Business Dev. Manager (Director)
Clare started her career after studying Biology at Auckland University, in the Amazon Rainforest, there she lived and worked for 2 years with a remote community helping them to develop enterprises that would conserve their rainforest. Clare has joined the family business in 2006 and in between having 3 children and completing numerous papers and Certificate in Sustainable Nutrient Management from Massey University.
She enjoys working closely with farmers and growers with on-farm real life research that helps farmers and growers produce the best food in the world – now and for the future.

General Manager (Commerical)
Since gaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lincoln University, Richard has accumulated significant Agri-business experience in many aspects of the Primary Industries. The development of his career from dairy processing to the red meat sector, to the co-products industry, and now with AgriSea shows that Richard is passionate about the rural business sector. He relishes the opportunity to positively contribute to the development of New Zealand Agri-business.
Richard lives on a small lifestyle block near Te Awamutu with his wife and son.
OUR PRODUCTION TEAM
Operations Manager/Health & Safety Manager
Rob joined the AgriSea back in October 2018. Prior to this he was on the Defence Force, in Logistics Management, Transportation and Warehousing. Rob spends a lot of time out on the road delivering products to customers, and has got to meet a few new faces over the last 18 months. He is also in charge of the brewing side of things and Health and Safety for the company.
Rob and his wife Colleen live in Paeroa and love the outdoors especially getting out in his kayak fishing up the Coromandel coast.
Clive started with AgriSea back in October 2005. Prior to this he also worked in the Freezing works for 17 years. Clive is the “fix it” man (a.k.a McLivor), if anything is broken, Clive can generally fix it. He’s also in charge of brewing the Animal and Pasture Nutrition, which he’s got down to a real fine art.
Clive also spends a fair bit of his time out on the road delivering products to our customers.
Previous to joining AgriSea Roger worked at Silver Fern Farms. At work, you’ll find him mostly in the Seaweed milling room or working the machines out the back in the production area.
Originally from Rotorua, Roger now lives in Paeroa with his wife and three children.
James currently resides in Paeroa, and prior to joining the Operations/Production Team at AgriSea, he was studying at the Hauraki Plains College with a vision of starting a career within the agriculture sector.
He completed general farming work within the Hauraki Plains and Waikato region, and especially enjoyed working as a Tractor Operator for a local contractor.
James plays an active role within the Paeroa Fire and Emergency Services, and has worked hard over the last two years alongside his father Mike, who has dedicated many years to the Fire and Emergency.
James enjoys the great outdoors, including what the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki Plains have to offer with great beaches, native bush and trail walks

Sales & Marketing Executive
Sarah has been involved in the Agricultural Industries for most of her life. Bought up on a Sheep and Beef farm on the West coast of the North Island, Sarah left school and worked for Elders Pastoral, before moving onto Farmlands where she worked for 12 years at the Te Awamutu and Hamilton branches. Sarah eventually became the Branch Manager of both of these stores, before leaving to start a family.
Sarah and her husband moved to Paeroa back in 2007 to go Dairy farming, before purchasing their own Drystock property in 2016. She started working part time for AgriSea back in 2013 before becoming our Sales Manager. Sarah enjoys working on the farm in the weekends, and following her children around with their various sporting activities.

Ange started with with AgriSea back in 2011. She spent her first eight years in the role of Area Field Consultant, working along-side our farming community. In this time she carried out many Visual Soil Assessments providing customers with the unequivocal evidence of soil and pasture improvements.
Ange’s career line involves 20 years in the Automotive Industry from the Service Department to Finance Management and a total of 35 years in various customer service roles. Coming from an Automotive to Agricultural arena was challenging for Ange but thoroughly enjoyable. She has learnt so much with AgriSea about New Zealand Seaweed, Ecklonia radiata.
She is grateful to our customers who have taught her about their farms, farming industry practices and animal health. AgriSea’s view for the future of a more sustainable, healthier lifestyle for our land, animals and ultimately family fit so well with Ange’s values – it’s right where she wants to be.
OUR ADMINISTRATION TEAM
Ana-Katrin van Eyk
HR/Health & Safety Administrator
Ana joined AgriSea in February 2019 and has integrated perfectly into our Admin team, assisting with Sales, Accounts, Customer Service, Health and Safety, Event Management and other special projects. Ana has an extensive admin background gained while working in Engineering, Property Development, Marketing, Parliamentary Services, Education, Finance and Hospitality.
From a multi-cultural background, Ana was born in Bolivia, lived in London for ten years, married a kiwi and moved to New Zealand. She recently re-settled into the Hauraki Plains, on a dairy farm with hubby and their two children, Ana is enjoying the rural lifestyle and being part of a small community.
Kerri joined AgriSea in January 2011. Coming up nearly 10 years she is currently working as our Dispatch Coordinator and supporting our Sales Reps with their product requirements. After arriving home from Australia with her husband and two sons to raise her family, Kerri is enjoying living and working locally in Paeroa.
Michelle started with AgriSea in June 2009 to assist with orders and invoices on a part-time basis. With the growth of the company over the years she has increased to a full time position and has found it exciting to watch the company continue to grow, bring on new product lines and collate more scientific data regarding the benefits of using our products. Michelle finds it satisfying to be part of a team that produces sustainable natural products which are beneficial to humans, animals and the environment. Her passion is to make everyone feel like they are our only customer, every time they call.
Elaine joined AgriSea in March 2019 as the new Accountant to oversee Financial Reporting, Cashflow and all things money-related! Originally from Ireland, Elaine moved to Paeroa in 2012 and became a New Zealand citizen in 2018. Elaine loves the Paeroa and AgriSea community she lives and works in. Elaine has worked in accounting related positions for the past 25 years and is experienced in both the public and private sectors having worked for both in the UK and New Zealand.
Alongside Anna, her wife (who is a teacher) and their dogs, Elaine loves volunteering with Special Olympics Thames Valley and partaking in the many community events available in this small but vibrant community.
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado in the USA. I moved to NZ with my Kiwi partner in 2013 when he took on a new role with a company in AKL. My job with AgriSea has given us the opportunity to move out of the city and we love it.
Growing up, my surroundings were mountains and rivers, so I love the walking tracks through the Karangahake Gorge. I also enjoy gardening, reading and getting out on the boat. We also own a motorcycle, so we get out with our friends and tour NZ whenever possible. I’ve been fortunate enough to ride around most of the country with just a few locations still on my list to visit.
OUR AREA FIELD CONSULTANTS
Northland Area Field Consultant
Brett joined AgriSea in June 2019 and is our Area Field Consultant in Northland living in Kerikeri and covering all aspects of the AgriSea business, including Dairy, Drystock, Horticulture, Animal Health and Bee Nutrition.
Brett was born in Taumarunui and worked closely with the Agricultural sector around the region. Married with four children he moved the family to Kerikeri 8 years ago working for PGG Wrightson’s, Farmlands and in the Dairy Chemical industry before joining AgriSea in 2019.
As he often mentions, Brett is ‘Living The Dream’ in Northland and looking forward to working with his existing clients and fostering new ones helping them to succeed in their chosen field.
Central Waikato/ Coromandel Area Field Consultant

South Waikato/BOP Area Field Consultant
Becca joined AgriSea in February 2020, after returning from a year living and travelling through UK/Europe. She enjoyed relief milking on a range of UK farms to fund her travels.
Born and bred on a sheep and beef farm in the Wairarapa, Becca has grown an interest and appreciation for New Zealand’s primary industries. Since finishing her agricultural degree at Massey, Becca spent 4 years working within the rural banking industry.
Becca has settled in Papamoa with her fiancé, Steve, who is a mixed animal Veterinarian. Together they enjoy a range of sports including surfing and squash, not to mention a good bit of socialising!
West Waikato Area Field Consultant
Murray’s whole working life, has been in the agricultural service sector. Murray has worked as a stock agent, wool classing, and export also dairy farming and milk processing.
Over the last 20 years he has been involved with fertiliser, farm nutrient management (incl. Overseer), dairy effluent design and management. He has practical working experience with both conventional and organic agricultural production and has found a neat fit with the Agrisea products into all farming systems.
Taranaki/Lower North Island Area Field Consultant
Having been on the AgriSea team since October 2010 Gavin has an extensive Sales and Marketing background in the Agricultural/Horticultural industries.
With his wealth of experience, Gavin has built up a very loyal clientele in the lower North Island. His knowledge of farming and agriculture and how bio stimulant’s fit with-in nutrient management has been of great value and is sort after by both existing clients and new prospects looking to improve and fine tune their Farming Systems.
Hawke's Bay/ Gisborne Area Field Consultant and AgriSea Technical Adviser
Mark started with Agrisea in Feb 2011. He is currently the Agrisea Technical Advisor and Sales Consultant for Hawkes Bay and Gisborne. Originally employed as Sales consultant for Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast he moved to the Hawkes Bay to take up his current role.
Raised on a Sheep and Beef farm in the Marlborough Sounds, Mark gained a Tertiary Qualification in Agriculture and had experience in the Dairy Industry as a Farmer. He completed a Diploma in Farm Business Management then as a TB technician for the Animal Health Board prior to full-filling his current position.
Having had first-hand experience with seaweed products and biological farming Mark brings a pragmatic practical approach to the Technical Advisor role combined with associated scientific and technical expertise that gives the best possible support to customers and our Area Field Consultants.
Manawatu/Kapiti & Wellington Area Field Consultant
Hannah joined AgriSea in September 2020 after working in livestock advertising. She finished at Massey University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Agriscience majoring in Equine under her belt giving her a well rounded view of the agricultural sector.
Born and raised in Timaru with a keen interest in agriculture and horses meant the decision to head to Massey to further her knowledge in the primary industries was an easy one, and the added bonus that she could take her horse to the equestrian centre on site too sealed the deal.
Hannah now resides on a farm in Taihape with her partner Dan who is a Livestock Agent along with her horses and other various animals. On the weekends you will find her either on the farm or at a horse show. She is also involved in the local show jumping group.
Canterbury/ West Coast Area Field Consultant
Paul joined AgriSea in 2011 and is one of our longest serving team members. Paul brings extensive knowledge and experience to his role offering farm advice on the best use of AgriSea products and supporting other farming processes for good fiscal outcomes.
Bought up and educated in the Canterbury farming environment, Paul left school to take up a trainee roll in Crop Procurement where he worked for nearly three decades, alongside Pasture Management in Ellesmere and North Canterbury.
Paul and his wife have settled in North Canterbury and have four adult children and a grandchild that have settled close by.
Southland/Otago Area Field Consultant
Chris started with AgriSea July 2019. Chris has had personal experience with the AgriSea products when he was Dairy farming.
As the Otago/Southland Area FIeld Consultant, Chris feels he has the most beautiful office in the world. With a Farming background in sheep and beef and dairy farming prior to joining AgriSea, Chris took a couple of years out to upskill in the real world and drove taxis in Dunedin.
Chris resides in Port Chalmers, Dunedin with his partner of 24 years Joanne.
Marianne joined AgriSea in 2019 and is loving working with a company whose philosophy and values align closely with hers. She has graduated with an MBA and a degree in Agricultural Science majoring in Soil Science. Marianne has always had a passion for sustainable and profitable production and has been involved in many aspects of NZ Primary Industries including Consulting, Management and Training roles in the Horticultural and Agricultural sectors.
Marianne has two children and, with her husband, owns a lifestyle block/orchard in the Bay of Plenty which keeps her busy when she is not at work.
Susi arrived from the UK with a background in the Thoroughbred racing industry. Her lifetime love of horses and a passion for pleasure riding naturally lead to a career in the industry. Horses wellbeing is her main focus and AgriSea was the perfect fit. She has helped many top riders in all disciplines achieve outstanding results using the AgriSea products and loves to see the horses look and perform to the best of their ability.
Apiculture (Bee) Specialist
Tony first worked for AgriSea as an Area Field Consultant, focusing on dairy, drystock and apiculture. He acquired his own bee hives and under the mentorship of a good commercial beekeeper has upskilled himself to the point where he is able to advise others on the values and benefits of bee nutrition.
Tony also worked alongside the Research and Development Manager monitoring and collecting data from apiculture trials being conducted across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
His passion, knowledge and experience for all things beekeeping led to his taking on the role of AgriSea Apiculture Advisor.
