AgriSea foliar application helps avocado grower achieve bigger fruit and improved pack-out percentages.

An avocado grower in the Bay of Plenty began using AgriSea Foliar Nutrition after hearing positive reports from other horticulture operators in the region.

The grower was looking for ways to improve fruit size and overall tree health on the orchard.

"We started with a trial on a section of the orchard," says the grower. "We wanted to see if AgriSea could deliver the results we'd heard about."

The results came quickly. Within 48 hours of the first application, the leaves on the treated trees showed a noticeably darker green colour.

"It's become an essential part of our operation. The cost is easily justified by the improvement in fruit quality and size."

Applications are timed to coincide with key growth stages, particularly during fruit development.
