In Connecticut, our partnership with GreenWave USA has built a processing facility capable of handling over one million pounds of regenerative kelp every year. This is regenerative ocean farming turned into real infrastructure — kelp grown to restore marine ecosystems, then processed into products that support soil health, animal nutrition, and a more resilient food system.

This facility sits at the heart of the Sea to Soil Resilience Program, our shared commitment to closing the loop between ocean regeneration and land regeneration. Kelp farmed by GreenWave's growers moves from sea to soil, supporting farmers who are working to rebuild the health of their land.

We're also committed to ongoing research into what regenerative kelp can do, including work with the Rodale Institute to better understand its role in soil biology and long-term farm resilience. This is a long game. We're building the evidence base alongside the infrastructure.

AgriSea has spent nearly 30 years turning seaweed science into practical tools for farmers. This partnership brings that same thinking to a new coastline, with a new set of growers, and a shared belief that the health of the sea and the health of the soil are the same story.
